Steps to Prepare for a Knockdown & Rebuild with Bellevue

Initial consultation

Book in for a complimentary consultation with us where we will assess the current property such as: evaluate the condition of the existing building, land, and any potential restrictions or regulations that may apply. We will help you determine your needs and goals, such as defining your requirements for the new home, including the design, size, features, and your budget.

Site Assessment & Survey

Before we proceed, we want to ensure that we have all facts on hand. We can obtain an updated contour survey plan in order to determine the accuracy of your land boundaries as well as locate all of your connections and services.

Demolition & Design

The next step is to demolish the existing building, including any trees. Once the demolition is underway, we can also finalise your design and facade. A soil test is ordered so your slab requirements can be confirmed. 

Interior Design & Colour Selection

Once your floorplan and house facade is finalised, we can begin the fun part – interior design and colour selections! You will have a gallery appointment in which you can bring all your inspiration pictures and images, and our experienced interior design will guide you through the entire selection process.

Contract Signing & Finance

Once everything has been confirmed, we are ready to proceed to contract signing. You will also be able to proceed to formal finance approval after the contract is signed. 

Final Engineering & Building Approval

We’re officially ready proceed to pre-site phase. This means that we will prepare your final engineering plans and construction drawings, as well as obtain your building approval. Timeframes for approvals may vary, depending on the council area. 

Construction Begins!

Once building approval has been obtained, we will be ready to site start.
